How quickly may I book an appointment with Silicon Valley MRI & CT? 

We offer flexible hours. There are even times in which we can schedule you for the same day you call for an appointment.


Why do I need to Arrive at the clinic 15 minutes before my scheduled exam time?

It's necessary for you to arrive early in order to complete your paperwork and prepare for your exam. Occasionally, we are able to begin your exam early. 


What do I need to bring with me to facilitate the payment process?

Bring a photo ID and your complete insurance information, including your insurance card, ID number and group number. In addition, for workers' compensation claims, bring your claim number, and the date of injury.


What do i Do if my insurance provider requires an authorization for my exam?

Some plans do require pre-authorization. Silicon Valley MRI & CT works with most payer organizations to process and obtain the needed authorizations. If we require assistance from you or your physician we will contact you directly. 


What if I am unable to keep my appointment?

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please call the clinic and your physician will be notified and your examination rescheduled.

I don't have medical insurance. Can I pay cash?

If you do not have medical insurance and/or you are concerned about paying for your procedure, call Silicon Valley MRI & CT at . We are happy to provide an estimate of the cash price of your procedure. 


May I get copies of my MRI, CT or X-Ray films?

Yes, call Silicon Valley MRI & CT to request a copy of images. We are completely digital and distribute images on CD's. However, if your physician specifically requires film, we will accommodate this request ASAP. Typically, there are additional fees associated for this service. 


How long does Silicon Valley MRI & CT keep my records on file?

We maintain the images and reports from your exam(s) in accordance with state laws (in most cases for a minimum of seven years).


Do I need a driver to transport me after my exam?

Some procedures require a driver for your safety. When the appointment is made, our staff will inform you if a driver is needed. 


Are there weight or size  restrictions for specific exams?

In most cases, Silicon Valley MRI & CT is successful in imaging patients of all body types. However, there are certain limitations. Please contact Silicon Valley MRI & CT if you have any concerns.


How soon will I receive the results?

A report is typically sent to your physician within 24 hours of your examination.

What should I bring with me to my appointment?

Please bring a copy of your insurance card, a valid ID, and a list of any medications you are currently taking. Please do not bring any valuables if at all possible.
